About The Meetup

We believe it’s important for not only Auckland, but New Zealand as a whole to position ourselves as global leaders in the design of innovative and scaleable technologies and businesses.

In response, Hardware Meetup AKL is bringing together engineers, entrepreneurs, designers and enthusiasts passionate about building innovative and commercially viable products. We will hear from experts and founders, discuss the latest technology, check out products, and share resources. Founders and engineers will have the chance to showcase their products and companies. Our aim is to create an environment for conversations, opportunities, shared resources and meaningful collaboration.

We also believe diversity of thought makes life as good as it is. Diversity of thought comes from diversity of gender, ages, races and religions. A broad set of perspectives allows us to solve problems better, accelerate change faster, and make the world a whole lot nicer. We aim to help EVERYONE feel welcomed and valued at this event.

Come along, grab some food and a drink, meet awesome people, and let’s talk hardware!
